Executive in Charge at Sonderhive, Susan’s extensive career spans a rich diversity of genres and formats where she successfully runs projects across America and around the world. A six-time nominee and two-time Emmy Award winning Producer, Susan holds 21 years experience in entertainment as a Production Executive.
After graduating from UCSB in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Film Studios, Susan’s entertainment career kicked off when she was accepted in the iconic NBC Page Program. This opportunity evolved into a 5 year stint with NBC where she had the great opportunity to learn about various syndicated formats, working on iconic shows such as Access Hollywood, Starting Over, Weakest Link, and The Other Half.
Inspired by an insatiable desire to learn and discover the complexities of human stories, Susan then shifted into the world of documentaries, launching multiple groundbreaking docu-series including The Swell Life for OWN, featuring a legendary surfing family raising a son with Autism, Born This Way, the Emmy Award winning series showcasing the honest and inspirational stories of young adults with Down syndrome, and Director Davis Guggenheim’s From The Sky Down, a documentary about U2 and their journey in creating the acclaimed album Achtung Baby - an all time personal and career highlight. Concurrently, she began and continues to run Food Network’s Valerie’s Home Cooking, a long-term series spanning 14 seasons and winning an Emmy for Best Culinary Program.
Susan joins Sonderhive just after a successful run at esports League, where, as Head of Production for North America, she turned a significant multi-million dollar annual deficit into a profit within one year.
